THE EXPERIENCES OF INTEGRATIVE PSYCHOTHERAPISTS (IPTs) IN ENGLAND AND NIGERIA
ARE YOU A COUNSELLOR/PSYCHOTHERAPIST/PSYCHOLOGIST BASED IN ENGLAND OR NIGERIA WHO INTEGRATES THERAPEUTIC TECHNIQUES/APPROACHES IN YOUR PRACTICE THAT CONSIDERS MULTICULTURAL ASPECTS SUCH AS RACE, TRIBE, ETHNICITY & RELIGION?
If so, I would be happy for you to please take part in a research interview.
ABOUT RESEARCH
If you are a practitioner in England or Nigeria, I am conducting research into the experiences of using integrative therapeutic techniques/approaches that consider multicultural aspects in your practice.
My study will explore how practitioners develop, choose, describe and evaluate their own multicultural integrative therapeutic practice (MCIT), and the role played by various cultural dynamics mentioned above such as race, tribe, ethnicity and religion.
WHY PARTICIPATE?
The study has the potential to inform and inspire current and future psychotherapists, raise awareness about the benefits and challenges of MCIT practice, impact future practice and training and serve as a springboard for further research.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
The study involves taking part in an interview of around 60 – 90 minutes duration either in person or online and would be audio-recorded.
Thank you for reading this and please contact me if you would like to take part and/or require more information about the study via the contact below
