For the experienced insurance professional who would enjoy an opportunity to make a difference in young people's lives and our industry, we have posted the position for Center Director of the Kerestesi Center for Insurance and Risk Management (KCIRM). Desired experience should include executive/management, coverage proficiency and mentoring (formal and/or informal). Salary is commensurate with proven skills that translate to the demands of the position.

The goal of the center is to quickly become the premier insurance and risk management program in the western US. Current elements of the program include:

1. The KCIRM became endowment funded ($5.7mm) and approved effective July1, 2023.


2. KCIRM has a scholarship endowment of $2.8mm that funds 20 $5k in annual scholarships.


3. We applied for and were awarded a Gamma Iota Sigma chapter in September 2023.


4. We have an insurance and risk management minor and are working on the creation of a major by July 1, 2025.


5. As rated by USN&WR, UNLV is rated near or at the top as the most diverse major college or university in the country.


6. Most students are first generation college attendees.
