The Role
Works with the Transactional Insurance Solutions (βTISβ) Team within the Willis Mergers & Acquisitions Group in the design and placement of contingent liability insurance products for client, prepares submissions/coverage specifications, presents submissions/coverage specifications to carriers, and negotiates to secure coverage that meets client needs. Advises TS Client Advocate or Production Team in selecting carrier quotes that meet client needs, prepares and presents client proposals. Binds carrier quotes and obtains binders and coverage confirmations. Maintains strong relationships with key carriers. Participates in sales presentations.
Responsibilities:
- Technical placement, underwriting and sales
- Provides coverage and program design advice and expertise to TS Client Advocate or Production Team
- Provides knowledge to TS Client Advocates or Producers about markets and products as they relate to specific contingent liability risks
- Promotes WTW PE&TS Group at conferences and drives direct sales and revenue to the group
- Participates on Panels at industry specific conferences
- Drafts sales materials and participates in the sales process with producers
- Assists TIS Client Advocate or Producer in client meetings as requested with respects to renewal marketing
- Prepares submission/coverage specifications and submits proposals to carriers for quotes
- Receives quotes from carriers and negotiates for the best program for clients, provides coverage comparison
- Prepares quote proposals to present to client
- Preparation and finalization of Carrier and Client quotes & coverage confirmations to ensure contract certainty
- Manages the claim process and communicates with the insured and carriers throughout the process to support favorable outcomes and claim payment certainty
Qualifications:
- JD required
- Min. 5 years litigation experience at a law firm or investment management firm
- Must have obtained insurance brokers license within 60 days of employment
- Demonstrates knowledge of core insurance principles & provide explanation to clients
- Ability to conduct litigation research
- Deep understanding of required placement workflows
- Must demonstrate core competency of Willis Values & Vision
- Self-starter/requires minimal supervision

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).
Compensation
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $350,000-$450,000 USD per year. This role is also eligible for an annual short term incentive bonus.
