Being free to speak and not feel like you are all alone, can sometimes just be what you need to make sense of your thoughts.
We often fear judgement or fear of upsetting the other.
I provide a personal space for you to work through these challenges, this can be through walking together outside, we can take time to sit and reflect in a way that suits you.
My own life journey brings me to a place of authenticity and personal growth, and I would like you to move to a place inside you that feels just enough for you at this time.
We will build that relationship up through trust and confidence in the journey that you are on to find solutions to your presenting issue for you to be able to move forward in a way that fulfils you.
Practice description
Walking and Talking can offer you the opportunity to express yourself in a natural outdoors environment.
The focus will remain the same as if you were coming to me for indoor therapy.
The differences will be that you are not consumed in one space, minamilising eye contact, which can be an issue for some people, and less intense.
An opportunity to move and have a better connection with nature and the wider world or sit and reflect in an outdoor space which in turn has an effect on your state of mind, clearing some space to think more clearly.
You can become more physically active whilst talking through your problems and intune with your bodies emotions and behaviours through mindfulness and grounding.

Being outside we can explore through pausing, stopping and reflecting.
The pace and speed of our walks is client led

We will have a free call, to see if outside therapy will work for you and if not we can start of inside the therapy room, or online.
We will go through an assessment with regards to our walk and talk location and confidentiality around this.

I am an Integrative Counsellor, meaning 'no single approach fits all' just like, I believe 'we are all unique'
We have been raised with our own values and beliefs to feel accepted just how we are, this is exactly how I see you.
I will sit with you, listen and guide you to become the better version of yourself supporting you through the challenges you may be facing.
I have been working as a counsellor for over twenty years.
My experience as a Counsellor has been in schools both primary and secondary education, also for counselling services in and around Kent.
As a Counsellor, I believe that there is not one approach that will help one person in all situations, this is why I like to work holistically using elements of different approaches to help you to explore and cope with your problems, for you to hopefully gain a better understanding of yourself and others.
I can listen, understand, not judge, not assume and remain curious in a confidential environment.
We can focus on your thoughts, feelings and behaviour's using CBT techniques that can become a toolbox for you to work with outside of the counselling room.
As two people in the room, we can try to make sense of what is going on for you, 'two minds can sometimes work better than one!'
I believe effective counselling comes from the foundations of a therapeutic relationship based on trust, safety and feeling heard.
