About me and my therapy practice

I am a senior integrative clinical psychotherapist and have been working in private practice since 1980. I see clients in person in both London and Los Angeles and via video platforms worldwide.

I am committed to the development of a safe relationship that is nurturing, non-judgemental and illuminating. I passionately believe in the uniqueness of each person, so I use a highly personal and progressive ‘integrative method’ which uses a range of approaches to best fit your individual needs. My focus is on guiding you through the complexities of your life, help you realise your own potentials and authentic self. In this way, I support you as you discover inner peace, fulfilment and direction.

I work with individuals, couples and families, and run several women’s therapy groups. I am a supervisor for trainee psychotherapists and guest lecturer for training courses in England and the US.

I trained as a psychotherapist at Brighton University, the Institute of Psychotherapy and Social Studies and the Institute for Group Analysis. I have undertaken further training in Gestalt, Psychosynthesis, Existential Therapy, Bodywork, Art & Drama Therapy, Family Therapy, Archetypal Psychology and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I am an Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist, having trained in both California and London. I also work with Mindfulness as well as Team Building and Diversity Training.

Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I was a lecturer for Sussex University’s Centre for Continuing Education, I ran therapy groups at Lewes Prison, and counselled for the Open University.

I am a member of the Â鶹ԭ´´, the International Therapists Exam Council; the Corporation of Advanced Hypnotherapists, the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners, and Associate of the Royal Society of Medicine.

I have been voted on of the ten best psychotherapists in Britain.

Practice description

My first session

µþ±ð²µ¾±²Ô²Ô¾±²Ô²µ²õ…

The therapeutic journey begins with an exploration of your needs and consideration of what you would like to get from the journey.

Developing a relationship…

The first stage of the journey establishes the foundations for the relationship between yourself and I. This creates a nurturing environment of safety and trust.

·¡³æ±è±ô´Ç°ù²¹³Ù¾±´Ç²Ô²õ…

As the therapeutic relationship develops you can begin to explore more deeply your issues and concerns and new perspectives can become visible.

Possibilities for change…

Discovering more about yourself, your experiences and relationships, creates opportunities to make new choices and possibilities for change.

±õ²Ô³Ù±ð²µ°ù²¹³Ù¾±´Ç²Ô…

As you make new choices in your relationship with yourself, others and the wider world around you, other changes may start to occur in your life, helping you to live the life you would like to live and move towards becoming everything you have the potential to be.
