All therapy sessions are available remotely via Zoom or phone, so you can attend from the comfort and privacy of your own home.About me and my therapy practice
In our sessions, you'll experience a compassionate and energising environment that encourages self-exploration and personal growth. My relational and flexible approach combines person-centred, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioural methods to meet your unique needs. There's no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, so I adapt my methods to suit your specific goals and challenges.
I integrate evidence-based techniques with core approaches like Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Creative Expressive Arts, Solution-Focused Therapy, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and Narrative Therapy. These methods allow us to explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours while empowering you to create lasting change.
Above all, I maintain high ethical standards, ensuring our work fosters self-reflection and creativity. I aim to help you gain insights, develop coping strategies, and achieve meaningful transformation in a safe and supportive environment.
Practice description
In my practice, I offer a supportive and collaborative space to explore and work through a range of emotional and psychological challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. The therapeutic relationship is at the heart of our work together, and your personal goals will always guide our process.
I strive to empower you by helping you recognise and transform patterns that may prevent you from achieving personal growth. All sessions are remote, via Zoom or phone, ensuring flexibility and comfort so you can engage with therapy from any location. This approach provides consistent, accessible support wherever you are.
I also offer clinical supervision for both trainees and qualified practitioners. I support your professional growth and confidence as you develop your skills. Supervision sessions focus on reflection, feedback, and guidance to enhance the quality of your therapeutic practice.
My first session
Our first session is a chance to get to know one another and explore how we can work together most effectively. I'll ask questions to help me understand your goals, current challenges, and any relevant history to guide our work. We'll discuss what you hope to achieve in therapy and how I can best support you.
I'll provide an information sheet outlining my work and what you can expect from our sessions. We'll also discuss your specific needs and set a clear contract to ensure boundaries, confidentiality, and data protection in line with GDPR.
The first session may take longer than usual to accommodate the assessment and orientation. Regular session fees apply from the start.
For supervision clients, our first session will focus on discussing your current caseload, any challenges you're facing, and your goals for supervision. Setting the stage for our ongoing work together allows us to reflect and provide feedback to support your professional development.
