About me and my therapy practice

Psychotherapy, Stress Resilience Coaching & Functional Breath Coaching

I am an integrative psychotherapist and coach specialising in stress resilience & nervous system health. I combine a range of experience & training in psychology, health sciences, functional movement, breathwork, nutrition and polyvagal nervous system therapies.

I offer:

Medium & long term psychotherapy / psychotherapeutic coaching

Short term stress resilience training

Functional breath coaching for stress reduction, athletic development or functional breathing difficulties (breath pattern disorders)

Psychotherapy clients who come to me often express concerns around one or more of the following:

Inability to feel content

Disrupted sleep / insomnia

Stress or anxiety levels that diminish quality of life

Chronic irritability or tension

Chronic health issues

A sense of needing to ‘fix’ something but aren’t sure what that something is

Feelings of shame or stuckness

Feelings of dysregulation mentally, physically, or both

History of trauma

Difficulty with breathing

My work is nervous system based and treats the body as an intelligent entity that needs to be heard. I help clients explore their relationship to their own nervous system & find practices to support their stress resilience. 

I am currently a doctoral student at the University of Bath researching breathing interventions for stress, anxiety & low mood.

Practice description

I offer:

  • One-to-one psychotherapeutic coaching based in nervous system therapies such as breath training, movement, vagal toning and movement
  • One-to-one medium / long term psychotherapy for trauma using nervous system based therapies
  • One-to-one functional breath coaching for stress, breathing difficulties and athletic performance
  • Online learning programs on breathwork for stress
  • Online coaching workshops for professionals & clients on sleep, stress & recovery including yoga nidra, breath for stress, perimenopause, and athletic recovery.

I work from my own specially designed therapy & movement space on the London Road Campus of Reading University (RG1 5AQ)
