About me and my therapy practice

I have spent many years working privately and within the charity sector as a Trauma-Informed Counsellor and Supervisor, specialising in complex relational trauma and attachment issues stemming from sexual trauma and domestic abuse. My approach is integrative, drawing from modalities such as Person-Centered, Trauma-Informed, Internal Family Systems, and Psychodynamic Attachment Theory. These techniques are woven together with my lifelong exploration of the spiritual dimensions of life.

I recognise that the world we find ourselves in is calling for deep, transformative change—both personally and collectively. As emotional wounds rise to the surface, many of us are experiencing this awakening as overwhelming, intense, and often faster than we anticipated. It is in this space that I offer my support.

My style of counselling is focused on facilitating holistic, healthy integration. I help you uncover the root causes of emotional states and behaviors, assisting you in understanding the survival adaptations you developed to cope. To move forward, we first need to comprehend what is happening at a deeper level. Once we understand, we can gently revisit unresolved emotions and beliefs, offering them the compassion and acceptance needed for reintegration. This process allows the frozen energy to be released, helping you return to your authentic self.

I pay special attention to patterns and themes in your life, especially those that operate subconsciously. By bringing these patterns to light, we can begin to change them, reclaim your power, and help you step into your full freedom.

Practice description

In mainstream psychology, the spiritual dimension of the mind-body-soul triad is often overlooked, yet it’s essential for true self-realisation. Fragmentation and unhealthy coping mechanisms, often rooted in the ego, are widespread issues. To heal and move forward, both individually and collectively, we must learn to return to wholeness and align with our authentic selves.

In my work, I’ve found that true growth often requires an understanding of the spiritual aspects of life—how reality operates, our innate creative power, intuition, and multi-dimensional awareness. I feel called to bridge the gap between mind, body, and spirit, and address the distortions within the spiritual community through relational attachment and integration work.

If this resonates with you, I offer a relaxed, supportive space for your natural development to unfold, with a focus on a multi-dimensional perspective.

About me and my therapy practice

I have extensive experience working with trauma and abuse. I worked in clinical practice as a Supervisor for 3 years for a local charity. I have been working in a private capacity as an online only Supervisor for the last 2 years.

My practice is humanistic integrative and can encompass various modalities and ways of working.

Practice description

I am interested in working with people who are self reflective and want to better understand the interpersonal dynamics that can activate between Client and Counsellor, particularly transference and counter transference. I have experience in understanding complex relational patterns which can be beneficial for both the Supervisee and the clients that they work with to understand. I am passionate about how early attachment and trauma shape our present day responses and also the process required to earn self security and healthy attachment.

I work from a trauma informed attachment perspective and am interested in offering this knowledge to help others understand the themes and reactions embedded in the nervous system.

I have experience working one to one and in groups.

I aim to create a safe relational space where deep exploration, self reflection and trust can develop.

If you are interested in enhancing your practice by learning about trauma informed work, then please contact me to arrange your free 30 minute consultation.

My first session

I offer a free informal 30 minute consultation to discuss your needs and suitability to work together. If we agree to work together, I will send out a Supervision questionnaire and working contract. I ask that this is sent back to me completed via email, prior to our first session.

Standard rates are:

1.5 hours of supervision - £70

1 hour - £55
