About me and my therapy practice
I offer professional, compassionate and confidential counselling and supervision in Reading Berkshire, working with adults over the age of 18.
Counselling offers a unique opportunity to explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe and non-judgmental space. Together we would identify and explore any internal conflicts which may be preventing you from being your authentic self and living a full life. The aim of therapy is for you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, your relationships and your past experiences.
I work with a relational and integrative approach, drawing from person centred and psychodynamic theories of therapy. This simply means we work together to identify your current difficulties, as well as explore experiences from your past which may be impacting your current life and relationships.
I offer both brief and long term therapy, depending on your individual needs. Working open-endedly enables us to work with much greater depth and gives us the time to work through more complex and persistent issues.
I specialize in Eating Disorders and I have more than 17 years experience working with clients in private practice. I also have 2 years experience working at Berkshire NHS Trust Eating Disorders Service working with clients with more chronic and complex issues. My experience also includes working with clients referred to me by the National Centre for Eating Disorders (NCfED). If you’d like to know more about how therapy can help with the recovery of an eating disorder please get in touch.

About me and my therapy practice
Having regular supervision makes therapy safe and ensures ethical practice. When you receive supervision from someone you can trust and connect with, in a safe and non-judgmental environment, it allows you to reflect and explore your client work in an honest and transparent way. Supervision offers helpful feedback which enables you to develop professionally and grow as a therapist.
I offer one to one supervision to experienced and qualified counsellors online or in person. As a qualified Supervisor, I work predominantly with Humanistic and Psychodynamic therapeutic approaches. I offer support in all aspects of your client work and help you explore interventions and thoughts that you may not have considered.
