About me and my therapy practice
Asking for help can be one of the most difficult things we ever need to do and the decision to see a therapist can often feel like a challenging but very important first step. I provide a safe and supportive environment with a deep level of warmth and compassion. I have a grounded, creative, and empathetic approach in working with clients towards self-awareness and real, lasting personal and interpersonal change.
Practice description
My approach covers a broad spectrum of areas and issues with a deep respect for culture and diversity and is very much tailored to individual client needs.
I have extensive experience in working with children and young people, as well as adults and families. I have worked in both the voluntary sector and private practice as well as in schools, GP Surgeries, and numerous other settings.
Your therapy can be In Person, Online, Telephone or Outdoor/Walking Therapy
My first session
Once you have made contact, we will arrange a time to introduce ourselves and understand what kind of support you may be looking for.
Our first session will give me an opportunity to find out more about you and give you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have in relation to the therapy process, my experience and qualifications as well as to think about your goals and how we might work to achieve them.
We can then agree a counselling contract, giving you a full understanding of how I provide my service and what you can expect, ensuring you are happy to proceed.
