About me and my therapy practice
As an integrative therapist with a background in neuroscience, I provide a non-judgmental environment to explore causes of anxiety, depression, compulsivity, addiction, loneliness, self-esteem, issues around relationships, sexuality, gender, neurodiversity and addiction. Using science informed psycho-education as a way of taking the stigma or self judgement you may be placing on yourself. By explaining what is going on in the mind. How this may lead towards certain decisions that we make and then how those decisions may lead back to our emotions.
I combine multidisciplinary approaches using motivational interviewing to find your strengths, find achievable goals as well as using CBT as a way of identifying triggers for any uncomfortable emotions and healthy ways to work through stressful thoughts, feelings, experiences or ideas.
Therapy is your space to bring whatever may be concerning you. Together we can work out what you want out of your life as well as identify things that may be holding you back or causing distress. Then we can work towards tools and strategies to decrease stressful intrusive thoughts and help find happiness, relaxation, joy and motivation to get the most satisfaction out of life.
Feel free to call or email and we can set up a free phone consultation to see if we would work well together.
Practice description
In my practice I provide a space for you to develop trust to share emotions that you may be going through, while providing a holding space that we can explore what is going on for you. We can then explore what aspects of our life are important to us and what aspects are having a negative impact on us. Then we can work through tools to deal our concerns.
