About me and my therapy practice
Do you feel overwhelmed, low, or stuck?
Are you weighed down by stress, anxiety, or uncertainty?
Maybe you feel like you are enduring life rather than enjoying it?
You don't have to face these challenges alone.
Having worked in law in my first career as a commercial litigation solicitor I understand the demands and pressures of modern life. In fact, it was through my own experience of work-related stress that lead me to re-training as a counsellor.
Counselling offers a space to explore your thoughts and feelings in a non-judgmental environment. It's an opportunity to gain new perspectives, learn coping strategies, and develop skills for navigating life's ups and downs.
It's about investing in your mental wellbeing proactively, rather than waiting for a breaking point.
It’s not just for times of crisis but can also be useful for dealing with everyday life; the moments when stress feels overwhelming, when work-life balance seems like an impossible feat, or when self-doubt creeps in and dims your confidence.
Think of it like going to the gym. You don't just hit the weights when you are feeling out of shape instead you train consistently to build strength and resilience over time.
I recognise that one size does not fit all and so the counselling sessions are tailored to meet your unique needs and goals.
Over the years, I've had the privilege of supporting numerous clients in managing stress and regaining control of their lives. From improved sleep to reduced overwhelm, therapy has the potential to bring about profound positive changes.
I have a MA Counselling from the University of Manchester and am an Accredited Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (Â鶹Դ´).
I have over 10 years of experience gained from working in my own private practice, the NHS and the charitable sector. I am also an affiliate counsellor for a number of Employee Assistance Programmes.

About me and my therapy practice
I offer integrative supervision to help you reflect deeply, explore new ideas, and enhance your professional practice through a collaborative approachPractice description
At the core of my supervision philosophy is the belief that there is no one-size-fits-all approach. As an integrative supervisor I tailor each session to meet the individual needs of my supervisees. Whether you're a trainee or an experienced therapist, my goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where you can openly reflect on your work, explore challenges, and develop your skills in a way that best serves your clients.
My philosophy of supervision has also been shaped by my experience as a counsellor. I am an integrative counsellor and have over 10 years of experience gained from working in my own private practice, the NHS and as an Adoption Support Counsellor for a charitable organisation. I am also an affiliate counsellor for a number of Employee Assistance Programmes. I therefore understand how different organisational demands shape supervision needs.
This is one of the reasons that I am particularly drawn to the Seven-Eyed Model of supervision, which allows for a flexible and holistic approach. This model focuses not just on the supervisee and their client work, but also on the relational dynamics, personal processes, and wider contextual factors that influence therapeutic practice. It provides a broad and integrative framework that can adapt to various counselling modalities, from psychodynamic to CBT, and can evolve as you progress in your professional journey.
Supervision with me is not just about compliance or meeting ethical requirements; it’s about fostering growth, reflective practice, and personal development. I aim to create a space that helps you replenish your resources, reflect deeply on your work, and ultimately thrive in your practice. I believe that supervision is a collaborative process, one that grows and transforms as we do, and I look forward to working together to help you and your clients thrive.
I provide both individual supervision and group supervision either face-to-face or via Zoom.
