About me and my therapy practice
At Pip Stacy Counselling Services, I provide counselling therapy to couples and individuals, offering face-to-face or online sessions via Zoom. I also provide clinical supervision for therapists, drawing on extensive experience and a broad understanding of various mental health conditions. My areas of expertise include addressing poor communication skills, chronic illness and life-limiting conditions, anxiety, depression, anger, grief, suicidal ideation, and feelings of helplessness.
I specialise in Humanistic Counselling and Psychotherapy, focusing on Transactional Analysis. I hold a BA (Hons) in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling and a Diploma in Clinical Supervision, which inform my client-centred approach and commitment to fostering personal growth and emotional well-being in those I work with.
I conduct sessions from my private home office in a quiet rural village, bringing a unique perspective as someone who has personally navigated the challenges of living with an incurable degenerative autoimmune condition. This personal experience deepened my empathy and understanding of life's complex difficulties.
Practice description
My ethos is rooted in the belief that everyone can make meaningful choices and changes with the proper support and environment, regardless of their challenges.
Many individuals find themselves caught in cycles of unhelpful thinking and behaviours, feeling stuck or overwhelmed. I am dedicated to providing a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore and unravel your thought processes.
I aim to empower you to make better choices, confidently navigate life's turbulent times, and support your growth and development, enhancing your self-agency and autonomy while helping you to update your scripts.
This process empowers you to reach your fullest potential—emotionally, relationally, and psychologically. My approach is open, honest, and direct, fostering an environment of trust and transparency where real progress can be made.
