About me and my therapy practice
I am a professionally qualified, Â鶹Դ´ registered therapist. When you are troubled by life, or a complex relationship, deep in grief and sadness, or just stuck, therapy provides a unique place for you to be yourself in all your confusion, to be heard and understood, so you can better hear and understand yourself and find a way forward. Importantly, this is all done within a professional framework and confidential.
With my training and experience working with people from all walks of life, I provide a non-judgemental, warm and welcoming place for you to explore where you are and where you want to be.
Therapy is an opportunity to reconnect to your true self, your hopes, desires, frustrations and fears and in doing so, to rediscover your strength, softness and authenticity, all of which can be eroded or buried by life’s challenges and busyness.

By allowing yourself this dedicated time, therapy can be a place of healing, acceptance, discovery and growth.
I know this can feel like stepping into the unknown, and it's important to find the therapist you feel you can work with going forward. With that in mind you can drop me an email and we can arrange an initial phone call. This is free and confidential and a good place to start.
Or, if you prefer, you can book a first 50 minute session and take it from there and that’s absolutely fine.
I work Monday to Friday online, by phone and in person from rooms in central London.

Sessions are 50 minutes. I offer short-term work (12 sessions) or longer term work which we can agree at the start and review regularly.

Practice description
I work with you at your pace to enable you to process what you have brought to therapy and get clarity about where you are and where you would like to be. The present often resonates with the past and in therapy you will probably find you toggle between the two.
My role is to work sensitively and attentively alongside you - listening to what you bring, using all my senses and my training to reflect back what I pick up and to check this out with you. This will enable you to gain a better picture and sense of yourself, your relationships with the people in your life and the world around you.
My training and experience. I trained over a period of 5 years and qualified in London with a professional diploma in Integrative Therapeutic Counselling.
Integrative Therapeutic Counselling simply means that I have trained, studied and draw on a range of psychotherapeutic theories, which look at the whole person, taking into account your mental, physical and emotional needs.
I have worked with a diverse client group over the past 5 years in an NHS Counselling agency and have experience working with anxiety, bereavement, life transitions, stress at work, sleeping problems, family and relationship issues, previous problems that have resurfaced, complex relationships, existential and mid life crisis, grief and loss.

I have regular supervision to ensure I work to the required professional standards.
I abide by the Â鶹Դ´ code of ethics and practice, maintaining my ongoing training and professional development.
My first session
During this session we look at what has brought you to therapy.

I will listen carefully and ask some questions to help understand and clarify what is going on for you.
This first session is your opportunity to talk about why you are seeking therapy, ask some questions and to find out if you can work with me. It may help to jot down some thoughts beforehand.
If you would like to proceed, we can look at when to meet on a regular basis.
