About me and my therapy practice
Bilingual Psychotherapist/Counsellor, relationship counsellor, and and clinical supervisor.
Â鶹Դ´ and UKCP accredited
Together we will work through whatever issues you bring to the sessions at your pace.
I also offer small therapeutic group sessions / programmes. Groups focusing on specific issues, more general wellbeing, parenting, can be all female, all male or mixed. Group therapeutic settings can be empowering and incredibly supportive, providing peer support and deeper individual processing within the group context.
I'm a friendly, open and approachable person, I enjoy the work I do and this shows in my ability to form good working relationships with clients. I am honest and fair and when needed I will be challenging - all to help you work towards your goals and aims.
I integrate elements from Psychotherapy and other techniques and therapeutic methods to best meet your needs as my client. For example - psychodynamic, Solution Focused Therapy, person centred, Neurolinguistic Programming, Mindfulness Approaches, Eco Therapy (therapy in the outdoors), Emotional Freedom Therapy (tapping), specialist trauma treatment (treating PTSD and other trauma symptoms).
The relationship is key for me - this will provide a platform for all other therapeutic methods.
I am also a trained and experienced Mediator and offer conflict resolution services, and relationship therapy - this could be for family members, couples, neighbours, tenant/landlord, workplace.
I can work with you over a short period of time or longer term, again this will be dependent on your needs and wishes, we can discuss this at your first session and review progress regularly.
Specialist areas: families and young people, sexual abuse, ptsd, domestic abuse and adults, children and young people with anxiety, depression, social and behavioural difficulties.
My passion is working alongside clients to build resilience, help them reach their potential and live fulfilled, contented lives.
