My practice has been formally reviewed and approved by senior clinicians, and I also bring hospital-level experience from my work in clinical mental health services.

Before our first session, we鈥檒l have a free introductory call to explore what鈥檚 been going on for you and how I might be able to help. It鈥檚 simply a space to see if we鈥檙e a good fit.

If we decide to move forward, I鈥檒l offer a regular weekly time, and we鈥檒l shape the process together from there.

In our first session, I鈥檒l ask about your background, current challenges, and what you鈥檙e hoping for from therapy. We鈥檒l also talk through any questions you have about the process. You don鈥檛 need to have the right words or a clear goal鈥攋ust a sense that something isn鈥檛 working is enough.

Sessions last 45 to 50 minutes and are grounded, structured, and collaborative鈥攄esigned to support you in finding steadiness, clarity, and a way forward that feels manageable. We鈥檒l review progress regularly to make sure the work stays relevant and useful to you.

Availability

I am currently accepting new clients for daytime and evening sessions, Monday to Friday. Weekend appointments may be available by request.

Sessions take place online or in my private consulting room in Guildford, offering a confidential and serene space with convenient roadside parking. Online therapy is also available for those unable to attend in person.

My name is Nic, and I am a highly qualified integrative therapist with extensive experience in helping clients navigate their emotions, thoughts, and behaviours. With a Master鈥檚 Degree in Psychotherapy, I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals in achieving mental well-being.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of assisting many clients who are often seeking therapy for the first time, sometimes encouraged by a loved one. I understand how daunting it can be to take that first step, and I am here to provide a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore your feelings and experiences.

Practice description

My approach to therapy is integrative and tailored, drawing from person-centred therapy (PCT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT). Together, we鈥檒l identify and change unhelpful patterns of emotions, thoughts, and behaviours in a way that suits your unique needs.

You can expect a collaborative, supportive environment where your voice is at the heart of our work. My aim is to empower you to make meaningful changes that enhance your mental well-being and personal fulfilment.

Sessions take place in a private, comfortable consulting room in Guildford, offering a serene and confidential space with roadside parking. For added flexibility, I also provide online therapy sessions, so you can access support from home.

I bring extensive experience from both NHS and private practice settings, equipping me with a deep understanding of diverse mental health challenges. My qualifications include a Degree in Psychology, a Master鈥檚 in Psychotherapy, and Postgraduate Diplomas in Counselling and Behavioural Therapy. I am a 麻豆原创-accredited therapist, a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society, and a member of the Society for Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (SfDBT), adhering to their high ethical standards.
