About me and my therapy practice
Does traditional talk therapy feel overwhelming? Maybe you struggle to put your experiences into words, or words alone don’t fully capture your pain. If you’ve experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, or other emotional challenges, expressing your thoughts and feelings may feel difficult or even impossible.
I integrate a range of creative approaches to help you explore emotions, memories, and inner struggles in a gentle, supportive way. Depending on your comfort and needs, sessions may include guided visualisation, dream work, sand tray therapy, or metaphor exploration, offering alternative ways to process and heal.
I have also recently trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), a powerful psychotherapy that helps people recover from traumatic experiences. EMDR works by using bilateral stimulation (BLS)—such as eye movements, tapping, or auditory tones—to activate the brain’s natural ability to process and heal distressing memories.
Both creative methods and EMDR tap into the mind’s inherent healing capacity, allowing you to process experiences beyond words. My goal is for you to leave feeling more resilient, empowered, and with a renewed sense of hope.
If you're curious about working together, book a free 20 minute introductory call to find out more.

Accessible Online Sessions
Therapy is offered via the secure video platform 'Zoom,' allowing you to attend sessions from the comfort of your home and fit them into your busy schedule.
If you're able to travel, I also offer face-to-face sessions in a lovely, peaceful room in Gosforth, Newcastle.
Therapeutic Approach
As a qualified psychotherapist, my approach is rooted in understanding the underlying causes of your emotional distress. I believe in building a trusting, collaborative relationship where you feel comfortable being yourself and sharing openly. Rather than offering quick fixes, I aim to work with you over time to address the core issues driving your pain, whether that’s trauma, shame, or unresolved emotional conflict.
I usually work with clients on a weekly basis and we meet at the same time, on the same day each week. I hold that space for you. Regular sessions create a predictable routine, providing a sense of security and maintaining ongoing momentum in addressing issues. This consistency makes it easier to build on the progress made in previous sessions and ensures you have the necessary emotional support as we delve deeper into the work.
I will work with you at your pace, ensuring that our sessions are tailored to your needs and comfort.
