About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I'm Caroline, a highly experienced, Â鶹Դ´ accredited counsellor. I run an online counselling practice which is open to all, regardless of their ethnicity, background or sexual orientation.
Do you struggle with anxiety or stress
Do you often feel overwhelmed with day-to-day pressures?
Perhaps you can't talk to those around you about life due to your culture or background.....
Whatever your need right now; I can offer you professional support.
I work with issues including: Anger, Anxiety, Bereavement, Chronic illness, Climate Change, Disability, Fertility, Gender, Grief Identity, LGBTQi+, Life transitions, Menopause, Multiculturalism, Neurodiversity, Relationships, Racism , Trauma, Sexuality and Stress.
My online practice means that I am only ever one click away from offering you my professional support. I can offer you a safe and calm counselling space where you can talk about whatever you may wish, without any form of judgement, discrimination or prejudice.
I will be there to listen, observe and reflect upon any experiences you bring to talk about. I may also offer you strategies to help support your mental wellbeing during and after each session, if I deem it appropriate for your therapy journey.
Practice description
My counselling sessions are 50 minutes and conducted via Zoom.
As a counsellor, I have vast experience of supporting clients from a broad range of cultures, backgrounds and diversities. I also support clients who are neurodiverse.
I hold an 'Introduction to Mindfulness (MBSR) Certificate', which enables me to safely incorporate mindfulness & breathing techniques with clients which can be very helpful both inside and outside of the counselling room.
If you would like to start counselling sessions with me, then I do offer a free consultation via Zoom or phone. We will have an informal conversation around what you may wish to get out of counselling and how I can support you. Thereafter if we both agree to, we can book an initial session in the diary.
I do offer a concessionary rate which can be discussed when you enquire about my counselling services.
My first session
Prior to attending sessions with me, I will require you to complete a 'Mental Health Assessment Form'. This form will be used to aid me in assessing your mental health needs.
I require all clients to be registered with a UK- based GP and their details must be stated on their assessment form. I am unable to support those who do not supply these details.
I kindly request payment upfront for your first session. Any sessions booked thereafter with me must be paid within 24 hours of a session. I only accept BACS payments.
