About me and my therapy practice
Are you struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship issues or just feeling overwhelmed? Or do you feel stuck in a rut, that life is passing you by or finding it difficult to see a hopeful future?
Maybe events from the past keep playing on your mind, stopping you moving forward with your life or perhaps something specific is troubling you and you have a difficult decision to make.
I can help.
I am a fully qualified and experienced counsellor. I provide a friendly, safe and confidential space, where you will not be judged, allowing you the freedom to talk freely and make sense of whatever is troubling you, and help you learn better ways of coping.
I have many years of experience helping adults and young people (over 18) in a wide range of life issues such as anxiety, low mood, low self-esteem, self-doubt, overthinking, relationship breakdowns, burnout, lack of direction/feeling stuck, and work/university pressures.
I have also over two years’ experience of working for a local charity counselling adults who suffer from the effects of emotional, physical and sexual childhood abuse. We cannot change what has happened to us but I can help you to work through events from the past, to get a better understanding of yourself and to make positive changes in moving forward.
I can also support you in with Personal Development. Helping you to build confidence and motivation in areas of your future life such as career, relationships, health, work/life balance and finding purpose.
Whatever is bringing you to counselling, I believe that everyone is unique, every issue is different. I work in an integrative way, which means I draw from different approaches, use various tools and techniques to help you to start living your best life.
