About me and my therapy practice
I work with individuals who experience distress, anxiety and depression in their daily lives.
People come to therapy with me because something isn't going to plan, perhaps a specific life event, or a series of failed relationships, or perhaps recommended by a friend, family member or GP.
I offer a safe space to offer tools and strategies for improving your day to day experience, whilst also exploring the root cause of these life challenges. Thinking about your early life experiences, any trauma and the quality of the relationships with family, friends and lovers is an important early part of the work we do together. The detailed background in the initial sessions allows for an individualised and tailored approach to the type of therapy so that is suited to what you need most right now.
I specialise in Psychosexual therapy - I assist couples and individuals to improve their sex lives.
Sexual problems are very distressing. Something isn't working for you in the way you or your partner would like. It can be really hard to talk about sex and intimacy with your partner. This is where I can help, I an offer non-judgement supportive space to find out what is going on and how you would like it be different.
Psychosexual therapy often involves educational materials, practical exercises to do at home and overcoming barriers to intimacy.
