About me and my therapy practice
We are living in troubling times and the disturbances out there can affect our internal worlds where struggles can be pushed down and kept hidden. There comes a time when we can no longer contain the anxieties and fears or stress that comes from trying to keep it all together. I'm here to support you through life's challenges, whether you're grappling with a major life change, or a difficult decision you need to make, or perhaps you're feeling stuck or uncertain.
My invitation of therapy is to create space and time for yourself to:
- to 'pause' and try to process your struggles more objectively
- work integratively on how the body, mind, and feelings interact
- befriend and parse out our feelings and anxieties
- reflect on our lived experience: the workplaces, home life, family structures and how you relate to the world and others
- explore unmet desires, expectations and fears
- offer clarity and context
- make meaning of your life
- stabilise
I work with a lot of people who are exploring an emerging identity and/or a transition in their life. People who are of mixed cultural backgrounds. Mums and dads adjusting to being parents. Young adults trying to take on a direction in their lives. People exploring their sexuality. Women experiencing perimenopause and menopause. People unpacking their complex relationships to a parent and their families or origin. Men stepping into a healthy masculinity without shame or guilt. Find out more about my unique way of working on my website and/or book in an initial call to get a sense for how we might work together.
Counselling for teens (16+)
Are you struggling to cope with big feelings and moods? Difficulty at home and/or in school to feel understood or fit in? It's a lot of pressure! I offer mentorship and counselling to support young people navigating their disappointments and dreams.

Practice description
I understand that there are many other therapists out there and many different ways of working. This can make it challenging to find the right one for you. It is a unique relationship built on trust and offering an empathic, safe, and non-judgmental space that allows a strong alliance to form. Here is what you can expect in working together:
- Personalised, collaborative approach: I take the time to understand and befriend your pain, your inner critic and struggles.
- Holistic perspective: I recognise that mental health is inseparable from the systems in place of education, health, housing, the market and power. This perspective holds an expansive way of containing you - not through one diagnosis or circumstance but the full complexity of you.
- Social justice focus: I am committed to anti-racism and redressing inequality. I recognise the impact of power structures on us and our mental health and strive to create a safe and inclusive space for clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Evidence-based techniques: I am trauma-informed and together, we will develop practical strategies for managing stress, improving relationships, and fostering self-compassion at your pace.
My first session
Get in touch to arrange an informal chat (30 mins, Zoom) so we can gather a brief overview of what you're looking for from therapy and discuss practicalities. There is no charge or obligation thereafter, this allows us to get a sense for each other and see how we might work together.

About me and my therapy practice
I am offering low-cost supervision while I complete my training hours. Whether you're just graduating or starting out in private practice, I'm here to support you.
I see supervision as providing the necessary containment to not only support your client work but to support you in this rewarding and challenging occupation! Many of us unfortunately, have had challenging placements and/or work and training contexts that weren't altogether a positive experience. This can impact our confidence in our practice and affects how we show up in supervision.
I want therapists new and experienced to get the support they really need from supervision to enhance and deepen their practice and resilience while providing that therapeutic containment.
If this resonates, please get in touch and I'll give you a call back.
Practice description
I work as an integrative counsellor with adolescents and adults and have experience across different sectors (NHS, schools, charity and private practice). Prior to retraining as a therapist, I have had a good deal of life experience in many different cultural and organisational contexts.
As a result of working up the hierarchy of organisations in different sectors, I am very 'au fait' with power dynamics and strategic thinking. In my supervision, I try to reduce any power- over of holding authority; I also work with feelings of inferiority or 'impostor syndrome' and offer a collaborative way of working together that holds the professional (client, sector, organisation processes) and the personal.
If you need support and guidance within agency or partnership working or even in relation to your training provider and qualifications, I am here to support you. If you need creative ways to access blocks to understanding your client, I can support you too. I really enjoy the holistic offering some supervision can provide - there are many possibilities and processes at work if you're open and ready to get into it.
