About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I'm Jenny, I'm a queer Person-Centred Counsellor.

I understand that finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, especially when you're seeking someone who truly understands the nuances of your experiences. To that effect, welcome.

You might even be wondering if therapy is right for you. My approach is grounded in warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for your autonomy.

I offer a calm, confidential space for adults to explore a wide range of issues or whatever is on your mind. My work is non-directive — this means I don’t see myself as someone here to "fix" you. Instead, I work collaboratively with clients at their own pace, supporting those who are ready — even in small ways — to engage with their own insights and self-exploration. You don’t have to have everything figured out, just a willingness to explore. Some sessions may feel like a space to offload, while others might be more reflective and exploratory. However you show up, I will meet you where you are.

Practice description

I offer a reflection space where curiosity, insight and deeper exploration are encouraged. If you’re open to self-reflection and exploring the systems and dynamics that shape our lives, we may work well together.

My practice is shaped by an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed perspective. I understand that identity, gender, neurodiversity, and systemic oppression all impact how we move through the world. I strive to work in a way that actively resists discrimination, creating a space where we can explore how these aspects have shaped — and continue to shape — your life.

Whether you're working through childhood trauma, exploring aspects of your identity, or seeking a space where you don’t have to explain the basics of GSRD, my goal is to provide a space where you feel seen and heard.

I am LGBTQIA+, neurodiversity, and kink-informed. I use she/they pronouns.

My first session

I offer an initial free consultation as an opportunity for us to explore how we might work together, discuss your expectations for therapy, and see if we're a good fit.

There is no obligation if you feel for any reason we would not work well together.
