About me and my therapy practice
With a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and a CPCAB Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, I provide integrative therapy, combining humanistic, cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), and psychodynamic approaches. My goal is to create personalised therapy sessions tailored to your unique needs and goals.
My Approach
I believe therapy should be individualised, prioritising your unique experiences and personal growth. My practice is grounded in a person-centred approach, ensuring a warm, empathetic, and respectful environment where you feel safe, heard, and supported. Each session is held in a confidential, non-judgmental space, allowing you to explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours at your own pace.
Experience & Background
With over 15 years of experience working with children, adults, and vulnerable individuals, I have supported people in various settings. My background includes:
• 6+ years as a Samaritans Listener, offering emotional support
• Supporting children with additional needs in schools
• Assisting elderly residents in care homes
• Working with leading counselling charities for the past five years counselling individuals with various mental health difficulties such as anxiety and depression, ADHD, family conflict, low self-esteem, anger management, complex traumas and narcissistic abuse recovery
Currently, I work as a Pro Counsellor with Headstrong while running my private therapy practice.
