About me and my therapy practice

As an experienced and caring Person-Centred Counsellor, my aim is to enable you to explore and deal with the issues that you present and support you to discover and work on any changes that you want to make. I can offer you empathic listening within a non-judgemental, safe, space. Through developing a trusting therapeutic relationship, we can create an opportunity for you to explore your thoughts and feelings in order to allow you to process whatever is causing you discomfort or unhappiness. This may enable you to experience greater self-awareness and acceptance, which can lead to growth in your inner confidence and self-esteem, resulting in greater peace within. You are welcome to bring any issues that you want to share and explore.

You will receive a confidential, professional, reliable, welcoming and friendly service. I have counselled many adults of different ages with a wide range of issues. I like to work creatively and would encourage you to find different ways of exploring and expressing yourself.

I have had experience and specialist training in loss and bereavement support. Loss can come in many forms, from the death of a loved one to loss of health, fitness, career, lifestyle, financial security, a home, friendship, or even a beloved pet.

I welcome anyone who identifies as LGBTQ+ as I have a significant background of supporting the LGBTQ+ community. I understand many of the specific issues and conflicts that these areas of diversity can bring and have a well-developed knowledge of those that affect transgender individuals.  I have also had training in Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diversity.

Being a qualified member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists I work to the Â鶹ԭ´´â€™s Ethical Framework which means that I am accountable and will provide a safe and confidential service.

I am accepting and non-judgemental, believing that everyone has their own path.
