Hi, I'm Laura, a Â鶹ԭ´´ registered therapist with experience helping people to find meaningful change through better understanding their way of being in the world.

I am a warm, relational, and encouraging therapist and my practice is open-hearted and creative. I appreciate the uniqueness of each person (and their experiences) and embrace a holistic, inclusive, and non-pathologising approach.

I understand it can take great courage to explore what you're feeling, and I offer Person-Centred Therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy to help you navigate what's coming up in your life.

About me and my therapy practice

Person-Centred Therapy

In Person-Centred Therapy sessions, I offer a warm, empathic, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, experiences, and relationships—with yourself and others.

You’ll set the pace of our sessions, and we’ll explore what’s coming up for you in the here and now (like any thoughts, imagery, metaphors, dreams, or movement you notice), as well as past experiences.

Person-centred therapy is a creative process, and the experience differs for everyone. It can be a relief to share long-buried feelings or helpful to have a space to talk that is free of judgement.

Together, we will connect with the resources you already hold within—helping you nurture your self-worth, manage stress and anxiety, navigate past challenges, and build deeper connections.

I have seen firsthand (as a therapist and a client) the magic and potency of paying attention to the present moment and how gaining an understanding of who you are (and how you relate to the world), empowers you to make choices that lead to a more meaningful, connected, and fulfilling life.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy

IFS Therapy is an expansive and transformative approach that invites you to explore the many layers of your inner world; the parts you have within.

In our sessions, I will work alongside you to gently uncover and understand your parts, creating space for you to connect your 'core calm self' and for new understandings about your present and past experiences to emerge.

Working with your inner world and expanding your sense of self allows you to discover a more authentic and empowered version of who you already are.

In this way of working, I offer a compassionate and caring space and greatly respect your inner wisdom. As you learn to nurture and integrate the parts of yourself, more balance, peace, and growth naturally emerge in your life.

Practice description

My approach

I hold closely the belief that the world around us shapes our experiences. I create space for you to explore the different intersections of your identity and recognise how social systems may impact your wellbeing.

My approach is trauma-informed, queer and trans affirmative, feminist, and always centred in kindness, compassion, and respect.

I am mindful of how trauma can be stored in the body and take a holistic approach. Considering both the body and the mind can be helpful for those whose bodies are a place of anxiety (for those experiencing change, physical illness, or low self-confidence, to name but a few).

Ideas from neuroscience, philosophy, mindfulness, and Jungian concepts (like how we experience our dreams) also weave into my practice. I am deeply fascinated by archetypes, mythology, spirituality and our connections to land and place.

Training, qualifications & experience

My path to becoming a therapist started in Bristol, where I studied for a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and gained an understanding of the application of psychological science. I then completed a Master's in Counselling and Psychotherapy at Keele University, focusing on theory and therapeutic skills, and I graduated with distinction.

As a member of the Â鶹ԭ´´, I participate in regular supervision, take part in continued training, and work within their ethical framework. I am registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) and have practice insurance.

My first session

I understand how important it is to feel at ease with your therapist and to be able to build a trusting relationship. For this reason, I offer a free 30-minute initial call where we can connect, talk about what you're looking for, and see whether working together would be a good fit for you.

You are very welcome to contact me on 07983 344 856, by email, or through my website.

Sometimes, my replies may inadvertently go to your junk or spam folder. If you don't hear from me within 48 hours of reaching out, please check those folders to see if my reply is there!

About me and my therapy practice

Hello and welcome,

I'm Laura, a Â鶹ԭ´´ registered counsellor, psychotherapist, and supervisor.

I welcome anyone looking for short or long-term supervision. We will work together in a structured way for as long as you need, with regular check-ins to keep us on the right path.

Sometimes, my replies may inadvertently go to your junk or spam folder. If you don't hear from me within 48 hours of reaching out, please check those folders to see if my reply is there!

Practice description

I offer a vibrant online supervision space to thoughtfully explore the experiences and dynamics that emerge within your counselling practice.

I see supervision as an expansive experience that encourages collaboration, support, and growth —a place where you can process, reflect, gain clarity, feel seen and heard, celebrate your successes, consider your work, and ensure best ethical practices.

The relationship between supervisor and supervisee is individual and ever-evolving. Our sessions will be shaped by what you bring and the challenges or insights you're experiencing in your practice.

I draw from a variety of approaches (including Person-Centred Therapy and Internal Family Systems Therapy), weaving together my years of experience to offer holistic (recognising the influence of culture, identity, and environment on personal experiences) and inclusive (respectful of diversity) supervision.

My therapeutic background is humanistic and rooted in Person-Centred theory; trusting the wisdom we all have within. I integrate relational, trauma-informed, and evidence-based practices into the way I work, as well as mindfulness, philosophy, creativity, and somatic awareness.

I value curiosity and reflection, encouraging those who I work with in their growth and development. I aim to create a space where you can speak freely and bring your whole self without fear of judgement.

I offer supervision that is informed by frameworks like the Seven-Eyed Model and the Integrative Developmental Model, and welcome those who are at the beginning of their training or seasoned in their work.

If anything here resonates with you, it would be lovely to hear from you.

My first session

I understand how important it is to be able to build a trusting relationship with a supervisor. For this reason, I offer a free 30-minute initial call where we can connect, talk about what you're looking for, and see whether working together would be a good fit for you.
