About me and my therapy practice
Welcome – I'm so glad you're here.
If you're a woman who feels constantly overwhelmed, anxious, or like you're never quite enough, please know you're not alone – and it doesn’t have to stay this way.
I'm Amy, I'm a therapeutic counsellor who specialises in supporting women who struggle with anxiety, low self-esteem, and the pressure to put everyone else first. Together, we’ll gently explore what’s been holding you back, and help you reconnect with your own needs – without guilt or shame.
Counselling with me is a calm, compassionate space where you can finally breathe, speak freely, and start making yourself a priority.
How I can help you:
Feel more in control of anxiety
- Understand WHY you are feeling anxious, so we can work on the root cause together.
- Develop a 'toolbox' of techniques to calm your nervous system
- Learn to manage and accept the anxiety so it doesn't feel so overwhelming and scary, and as a result, break the vicious cycle of being anxious about feeling anxious!
Build self-esteem from the inside out
- Uncover and challenge negative self-beliefs
- Recognise your strengths and rebuild your confidence
- Learn to speak to yourself with kindness and compassion
Start putting yourself first – without guilt
- Set healthy boundaries without fear of letting others down
- Tune in to what you need and want
- Reclaim your time, energy, and sense of self
Whether you’ve had counselling before or this is your first step, I’m here to walk alongside you. It’s okay if you’re not sure where to start – we can figure that out together.
Practice description
I work integratively, which means I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to suit you – rather than a one-size-fits-all method.
Our work might include exploring past experiences that shaped your self-belief, using mindfulness techniques to manage anxiety, or gently challenging unhelpful thought patterns. Most importantly, everything we do is guided by your needs, your pace, and what feels safe and supportive for you.
Above all, I offer a warm, accepting space where you can simply be yourself – no masks, no pressure, just real connection.

Next Steps
I offer in-person (From my cosy garden therapy room in Eagle Farm South - Milton Keynes) and online counselling sessions in for adults via zoom.
My fee is £70 and is due in advance of each session.
If you are interested in counselling you can book in for a free short intro call (5-10mins) with me where we can have a chat and I can find out a little more about you.
Following the call if you would like to explore working with me we can get you booked in for a consultation session (fee is £70). This session provides the opportunity for me to get to know you in a bit more detail and for you to ask any questions so we can decide if we will be a good fit.

My first session
During the first session we will go through your client intake form and I will ask a few more questions to get to know you a little better. There will also be an opportunity for you to ask me anything you would like.
From there, if we decide that we will be a good fit, we can get you booked in for regular counselling sessions.
