About me and my therapy practice
Hi! I’m Dinah, I work as an integrative counsellor. I'm also a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (Â鶹Դ´).
I have a huge passion for helping people find healing, balance, and growth, and as you walk it out, I'll be here to support you every step of the way.
Do you overthink everything? Or lie awake at night replaying conversations and life stories? Do you sometimes feel like you are 'too much' but also 'not enough' at the same time? Perhaps you struggle with getting through life and feel like you are a bit stuck.
That's ok! I get it.
You don't have to keep pretending to be okay. If you're exhausted from holding it all together, I'm here to help and hold some of that weight with you.
I bring a holistic approach to counselling, tailoring our work together to meet your unique needs. Whether you’re a young person or an adult. I provide compassionate care in a warm, non-judgmental, and safe space where you can feel truly heard and supported.
Sessions are relaxed and conversational, with no pressure, just space to talk.
Book a free 20-minute chat so we can see if we're the right fit. There is no commitment, just a chance to explore whether therapy feels right for you.
No matter where you are in life, you don’t have to face things alone.
Practice description
Working as a school counsellor, I support young people aged 11–18. I also bring my skills and compassion to working with individuals privately from all walks of life.
Over the years, I’ve helped clients address a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, low self-esteem, confidence issues, bullying, trauma, life transitions, stress, loneliness, emotional regulation, sadness, heartbreak, anger management, workplace stress, cultural or identity struggles, and relationship challenges.
I understand that no two journeys are the same. That’s why I take an empathetic, client-centered approach, creating a warm and supportive space where you can feel heard, valued, and understood. Together, we’ll explore your concerns, develop tools to manage life’s hurdles, and work towards building resilience and personal growth.
My first session
A free 20-minute initial meet and greet is offered to all clients. This gives me and the client a chance to discuss why they are seeking therapy, what they are looking for, and hope to gain from the process. It is also an opportunity to explain further how I work as a therapist.
If we decide this is a good fit and the client would like to proceed with therapy. We will arrange an assessment session. An assessment enables me to gather more information about your needs and history.
