About me and my therapy practice
Are you a compassionate person who feels broken, worthless and have lost your sense of who you are? Do you keep ending up in toxic or narcisstic relationships? Do you feel trapped and confused in relationships and keep giving the other person chance after chance to change only to find yourself back at square one? Or are you a people pleaser? These are common reasons why people come to counselling and I can help you look at patterns of behaviour, why it might keep happening to you and ultimately creating permanent change so you can be fully informed before you enter into your next relationship.
Practice description
I am in private practice working from home offering private telephone or online counselling, providing adults with 50 minute sessions, using a number of different types of therapy. My niche is supporting those in toxic relationships and narcissism, and I have personal experience of this, so I can relate to you at a deeper level, if you too are stuck in the cycle of abuse. I can also help people cope better if they do not wish to explore their problems at a greater depth, with a shorter number of sessions.
I also work with anxiety, depression, bereavement and work-related issues along with lots more difficulties and focus more on the individual rather than any diagnoses.
My first session
At your first session, we can talk about what you expect from counselling and it’s an opportunity for you to ask as many questions as you like about the process, such as how often we would meet, session cost and confidentiality. It also gives you the chance to get an idea of whether you feel safe and comfortable working with me. We would also discuss the working agreement together, which outlines the session boundaries. This first session cost is reduced to £55, which is paid in advance and could be as long as 90 minutes.
What I can help with
Anxiety, Bereavement, Chronic fatigue syndrome / ME, Depression, Disability, Health related issues, Loss, Menopause, Mood disorder, Neurodiversity, Redundancy, Relationships, Sensory impairment, Stress, Trauma, Work related issues
Types of therapy
