About me and my therapy practice
Are you feeling stressed? Lacking motivation? Stuck? Are you struggling to move forward from the past or worried about what the future may bring? Of course, life is never guaranteed to be pain free, and we all face difficult challenges from time to time. At Keswick Counselling, I'm here to support you through them as we work together towards real and positive change in your life.
I am experienced in working with clients of all ages, including teens and young people. This experience has taught me that no two people are the same - each of us has a unique story to tell that has been shaped by our own past experiences and relationships. This understanding forms the basis of my approach to therapy and the way in which I work with my clients.
Practice description
At Keswick Counselling, I aim to create a warm and inviting space where you can feel welcome and relaxed, no matter what issues and challenges you're facing. Rest assured that you'll receive my full attention and commitment in helping you to navigate your feelings and concerns, completely free from judgement and negativity.
As a relational integrative psychotherapist, I am able to draw upon a range of strategies and interventions to support you - but I'm always fully aware that you are the expert on your own life - nobody knows "you" better than you do.
I understand that reaching out for help and support can feel a little daunting, but it's also an important first step towards achieving the change in your life you desire - and deserve! Former clients have said that they feel listened to, supported and validated in my therapy sessions. This is often where the journey to personal growth and self-acceptance begins.
My first session
Should you contact me, I will offer you a free, no obligation telephone consultation. If you're unsure where to start, this is a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the way I work, or about psychotherapy and counselling in general. It also helps me to gain an understanding of your concerns, so we can decide together the best fit for your therapy journey.
If you decide to work with me, you'll be warmly welcomed at our first session and invited to share, at your own pace, the issues or concerns that prompted you to seek therapy. Your privacy is of the utmost importance, and therefore, I adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines so you can share your thoughts and feelings with complete trust and assurance.
Here we will begin to establish our therapeutic relationship where I will take the time to understand your specific needs and goals. Whether you're navigating uncomfortable emotions, difficult life transitions or relationship challenges, you can trust in my commitment and dedication to your well-being.
