About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome. I understand that taking the first step into counselling can feel daunting, and I appreciate the courage it takes to reach out. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, supported, and guided throughout your counselling journey.
Whether you're struggling with overwhelming anxiety, depression, grief and loss, family conflicts, or self-harm, I provide a compassionate and supportive environment where we can explore these challenges together at your own pace.
I have experience supporting clients through a wide range of mental health concerns and life challenges, including those mentioned and more.
My approach is tailored to meet you where you are, ensuring our work aligns with your unique needs and goals. Whether you're facing a specific issue or navigating multiple challenges, I am here to provide guidance and support as you move toward healing and self-discovery.
The foundation of my practice is the therapeutic relationship, which I believe is essential to your healing journey. In a safe and supportive environment, you have the opportunity to openly share your thoughts, concerns, and fears. Through compassion, respect, and understanding, I strive to create a space where you feel truly heard and valued, allowing you to explore your emotions freely.
I have experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds, including through my work with local charities and schools. I support individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, bereavement, family difficulties, health concerns, menopause, and life transitions, among many others.
Practice description
I work from a person-centred framework, meaning our sessions are guided entirely by you, at your own pace. This is your space to use in the way that feels right for you, as you are the expert on your own life. Through this process, you can grow toward your full potential.
The counselling relationship provides a supportive environment for deeper self-understanding and insight into how you relate to others
