About me and my therapy practice

Do you sometimes feel like life is harder than it should? Feel teary-tired? I can offer you a safe and confidential space to put words on what is happening for you. Whether you’re going through a difficult event, or have a sense that you’d like to make some changes in how you live your life. Counselling is a process in which we work together to understand what’s happening in yourself (your feelings, thoughts, patterns of behaviour) so you can feel empowered to make the changes you want to make in your life and address situations in a way that works for you.

I can offer you a listening ear, my honesty and respect while we explore matters you bring to the session. We will take time to understand your strengths and difficulties. I will challenge you when needed and regularly check in to see what’s working, what isn’t, and adjust our sessions to meet your needs.

Practice description

I work from an office in my garden, accessed through the house.

My first session

Taking the first step of asking for help from a counsellor can be daunting, but please be assured that I will make the process of finding the right counsellor for yourself as easy as possible for you, by answering any questions you may have in a short phone conversation or in an email, with no obligation.

The next step would be to set up a 50 minutes exploratory session, charged at the current rate, which will provide an opportunity to meet face to face or online, and discuss what is going on for you and how counselling might help you.
