About me and my therapy practice
Hello and the warmest of welcomes.
Are you ready to take time for yourself away from day-to-day pressures to work towards a deeper understanding of who you are? You may be feeling stuck, confused, lost, uncertain, anxious or overwhelmed by your experiences, relationships or life in general.
I’m a compassionate, down-to-earth psychotherapeutic counsellor experienced at working with a wide range of individuals and issues whilst offering a specialism in bereavement, grief and loss.
I will work with you collaboratively to support exploration and reflection on your concerns, experiences and relationships helping you towards greater self-awareness, self-acceptance and new perspectives which will encourage healing, growth and lasting change.
By understanding yourself more deeply I hope to guide you to access inner resources and qualities of resilience, confidence and determination to make the choices and changes you want in your life.
Alongside my work in private practice I have worked therapeutically at a GP practice; in the charitable sector with a bereavement charity and with children in a primary school setting.
I work in a secondary school setting, as a counsellor with young people from 11-18 years.
Practice description
I am a qualified MÂ鶹Դ´ registered counsellor offering both face-to-face sessions in Harrow, North-West London and online counselling via Zoom.
I provide a safe, inclusive, non-judgmental, and creative space to work towards a greater understanding of yourself, your experiences and relationships.
Our work together is about building a trusting, authentic therapeutic relationship which is both supportive and gently challenging in a way that always has your best interests at the centre.
I do not give you advice rather I tailor my approach to shine a light on patterns of behaviour and ways of relating that may be hindering your growth.
I am trained as a humanistic counsellor and draw on different approaches including Gestalt and person centred, adapting my work so that it is individualised to your needs and pace.
My first session
Please contact me via email or phone to arrange an initial 15 minute phone or Zoom call so that we can get a sense of each other and how it might be to work together.
If we feel there is a fit and you would like to go ahead with sessions we can agree on a set number of sessions to begin with which we can review and extend.
Sessions will usually be weekly at the same time and last for 50 minutes
