About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced psychotherapist, counsellor and addiction recovery coach, with more than ten year's successfully helping mainly men recover and improve their lives for problems including:
- Anxiety, depression, low self-esteem or lack of purpose
- Addictions (alcohol, substances, prescription pills, chemsex) and compulsive disorders such as sex and use of pornography
- Experiences of physical and/or mental abuse, or participating in oneself
- Confusion and/or exploring sexual identity
- Relationships with people at home and work
- Living with physical and/or mental health problems
These are just some of the reasons people get help and support from me so that they move forward with their lives in a positive, constructive, more joyful way.
- I provide short-term and open-ended counselling and psychotherapy. I start by offering 6 weekly sessions, and then discuss with people options for moving forward over a longer period of time. People are expected to attend once a week.
Practice description
Psychotherapy and counselling is delivered in a safe, effective and compassionate way to gently help you reflect, express, and explore current and/or past experiences, feelings and emotions and helping you develop a more constructive relationship within yourself to improve your wellbeing and life experience. Coaching is more focused on helping you to identify and then set objectives for the future.
In addition to talking, and reflection, I also incorporate techniques such as meditation, visualisation, writing activities, and body work as alternative approaches to help enhance your development and help you develop your own skills and techniques to use outside of each appointment.

Practice description
Therapy with me consists primarily of talking, listening, guiding, exploring, understanding, and above all else, providing a place where you will not be judged and met with compassion. I use my year's of experience and training to use different techniques, in addition to 'active listening', to help individuals work through the reasons for coming to therapy. This can incorporate some body-work/somatic therapy, visualisations, mindfulness and action-focused techniques.
I provide short-term and open-ended counselling and psychotherapy. I start by offering 6 weekly sessions, and then discuss with people options for moving forward over a longer period of time. People are expected to attend once a week.
