About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I’m Sinead, MÂ鶹Դ´, a Person-Centred Therapist offering a warm, inclusive space where you can explore your experiences without judgment. My approach is trauma-informed and deeply respectful of your unique journey, placing your needs, emotions, and pace at the heart of our work together.
I specialize in supporting neurodivergent clients, drawing on both lived experience and professional training to create a space that feels genuinely understanding and accommodating. This means I’m mindful of sensory needs, communication preferences, and the ways that being neurodivergent can shape life’s challenges and triumphs.
My work is also rooted in helping clients navigate the aftermath of trauma, including life after domestic abuse. I provide a calm, grounding presence as we explore the impact of your experiences, working together to build tools and insights that empower you to move forward. Whether you’re seeking relief from overwhelming emotions, clarity in a time of confusion, or simply a space to reconnect with yourself, I’m here to walk alongside you.
Practice description
In my practice, I aim to provide a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported. Together, we’ll explore the thoughts, emotions, and challenges that are most present for you, always at a pace that feels comfortable. I believe that you are the expert on your own experience, and my role is to support you in reconnecting with your inner strength and wisdom.
For those who wish, we can work in creative ways to support self-expression and emotional regulation. I have access to resources such as sensory tools (including tactile objects designed to aid focus and regulation), which can help create a grounding presence in our sessions. Therapy can take place in my office in Pershore, online, or via telephone, offering flexibility to suit your needs and preferences.
Clients often come to me feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of their next steps. My goal is to provide a consistent, compassionate presence as we navigate those challenges together, building insights and coping tools that help you feel more grounded, both in therapy and in daily life.
My first session
I offer a free 15-minute phone call to help us decide if we might be the right fit for working together. This is an opportunity for you to ask questions and share a little about what you’re looking for in therapy, without any obligation to continue.
If we choose to move forward, our first full session will focus on understanding what you need from therapy and how we can create a space that feels safe and supportive for you. This includes exploring your goals, identifying your preferences for the therapy environment (including sensory needs), and beginning to develop a shared understanding of what feels most important to you right now.
I view this session as a collaborative process—there’s no pressure to have all the answers, just a shared commitment to creating a space where you can begin to explore your experiences and needs
