About me and my therapy practice

I am a fully qualified integrative therapist who has also undertaken further training to work with couples.

Therapy offers a safe and confidential space to explore difficult issues and find resolutions through insight, discussion, and reflection.

In relationships, it鈥檚 common for things to feel unbalanced, especially as life changes. Perhaps your partnership no longer feels fulfilling:

Life has shifted after having children, and you鈥檙e seeking to reconnect with your partner.

You find it hard to communicate your needs, wants, or desires, or you feel like your partner no longer hears you.

The distance between you both feels too wide, and reconnecting seems impossible.

The excitement and fun from earlier in your relationship have faded, and you long to rekindle the spark.

You may be considering ending the relationship but want to do so in a way that respects and honours what you once had.

It鈥檚 not uncommon to feel hopeless or unsure when seeking couples therapy. Questions like 鈥淗ow did it get this bad?鈥 or 鈥淐an we fix things?鈥 are common. You might also wonder if things can ever be the same or better again.

Relationship counselling can help you in three key ways:

Explore the full experience of your relationship, even the uncomfortable parts.

Acknowledge the current state of your relationship and what needs to change.

Learn how to communicate constructively, building stronger relational resilience for the future.

Throughout this process, I鈥檒l provide guidance tailored to your unique needs. Together, we鈥檒l uncover a deeper understanding of what needs to change to build new common ground, and practice real-life skills to handle future challenges even after our work together ends.

Practice description

Is there a particular aspect of relationship counselling you鈥檇 like to explore or discuss further? Or maybe a question about how it might help in specific situations? The emotional difficulty that comes with navigating challenges in a relationship is a very real experience for many people. It can feel daunting when things aren鈥檛 the way they once were, or when you鈥檙e struggling to reconnect or communicate effectively. I offer a non judgemental neutral third party presence to look at whats happening between you together. During the first session we鈥檒l explore why you鈥檙e attending couples therapy, what you hope to get out of the time together and what each of you are willing to do change your current situation. We鈥檒l meet weekly for 50 minutes at a time. Our time together can be open ended or we can commit to a certain number of sessions.

About me and my therapy practice

I provide a safe, confidential and supportive space, where we can work through your feelings and concerns.

We will look into how past events have influenced your current life and relationships as well as finding coping strategies to help you better manage the challenges you face in your own life.

My aim is to listen in a constructive way that will enable me to support you to get a better understanding of your self, your feelings, and your relationships. It is my aim to provide you with some therapeutic tools that can help you feel more positive and confident, to approach your life in a different, more authentic way.

Many people face difficulties in their relationships and sex lives at some point, and seeking therapy can provide a space to openly discuss what might be distressing or disappointing. This process invites you to explore what鈥檚 behind the issues you're facing, helping you move beyond them with greater clarity.

In addition to private practice, I have worked as a Counsellor in the NHS at a large London surgery and in a number of charities. Before training as a Counsellor, I worked as a commercial lawyer in a large London Law Firm.

I hold a Masters degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy and I am a registered member of 麻豆原创 (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and bound by its Ethical Code. I am also trained in working with Couples.
