About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I'm Ceri :)

I'm a friendly person-centred counsellor and have worked with Macmillan in an NHS setting, with carers, and with people who have experienced, or are at risk of experiencing, homelessness.

My experience includes speaking to clients with life limiting illnesses and their family members, bereaved, people with health anxiety as well as generalised anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, boundary setting, caring duties, different family situations, low self-esteem, grief and bereavement, loss, workplace stress, trauma and general dissatisfaction with life.

I also work with children and young people from the age of 7 all the way up to university students. I have experience of working in a junior school as well as high school and university students in my private practice. I use a child/young person-centred approach which includes methods such as play and art as these are important ways young people communicate and learn about themselves and the world around them.

The above isn't an exhaustive list so please get in touch for a 20-minute chat to find out how I can help you.
