About me and my therapy practice
Sometimes life can feel overwhelming and confusing, and it’s hard to know where to turn. In my work I create a space where you can slow down and make sense of what’s truly going on beneath the surface.
As an Integrative, relationally focused therapist, I draw on a variety of therapeutic approaches to suit your unique needs and experiences. I believe our relationships with ourselves and others are influenced by past experiences, and uncovering those old thought patterns can be both transformative and healing. At the heart of my practice is the belief that meaningful change happens through connection- when we feel truly seen and heard. Rather than offering advice or quick fixes, I work collaboratively with you to create a respectful, empowering therapeutic relationship where you feel safe to explore your current worries and understand their origins.
Your therapeutic journey will be a process of discovery. This exploration can help you recognise new choices and perspectives, empowering you to make informed decisions about the changes you wish to create in your life. The process, while gentle and paced at your comfort level, can lead to deep and lasting growth.
Practice description
I work with adults, offering both long-term and short-term therapy. I usually see my clients weekly.
I am a qualified Level 7 counsellor with a master’s degree in Integrative Psychotherapy (with distinction) and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (Â鶹Դ´). I regularly engage in continuing professional development to ensure that my skills and knowledge remain current, so I can provide the best support for my clients.
Additionally, I am a clinical pharmacist in the mental health team. With over 15 years of experience in healthcare I observed that distress is often not truly understood, but instead medicalised or dismissed. If this has been your experience, it can leave you feeling unheard, invalidated, and disconnected from your own inner voice. My professional journey has reinforced my commitment to providing a more empathetic, welcoming, collaborative approach that helps you reconnect with yourself.
As a psychotherapist, I have supported individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relational difficulties and life transitions. My experience includes working in a charity, where I helped individuals with neurological conditions, including neurodivergent clients, as well as volunteering in a hospice as a bereavement counsellor. These experiences have reinforced my belief that true healing is not about temporary solutions but about uncovering the underlying causes of your struggles and working towards deeper understanding of your inner world. This can happen when we feel safe and connected.
Having personally navigated major changes, including moving abroad, I am particularly sensitive to the emotional complexity that these transitions can bring. My personal experience with therapy has given me a richer perspective of the process as I grew to appreciate the courage it takes to engage in therapeutic work.
Additionally, I am bilingual and work in English and in Polish.
My first session
Starting therapy can feel daunting, but it’s also an empowering act of courage and self-care. I offer a free 15-minute phone or online consultation where we can explore whether working together feels right for you. This is your time to ask questions, share your hopes for therapy, and determine if I am the right therapist to support you.
If this is your first time considering therapy, it’s normal to feel uncertain. I’m here to address any questions or concerns you may have. Please feel free to reach out via email, and we can take it from there.
