About me and my therapy practice
Are you feeling lost, isolated, anxious, or low? Do you feel misunderstood or unsure of where to turn?
I believe that each person is unique, with their own way of processing their experiences and challenges. I know that talking about mental health can feel overwhelming and vulnerable, which is why I’m committed to providing a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space for you to explore what’s on your mind.
Throughout my career, I’ve supported individuals through a variety of struggles, including bereavement, anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, self-harm, identity issues, low self-esteem, postnatal depression, and more.
As a Neurodivergent Counsellor, I bring a deep understanding of how to offer accessible, inclusive, and affirming sessions. I have years of experience working with neurodivergent individuals in both therapeutic and educational settings, which has helped me develop a flexible and adaptable approach that meets a variety of communication styles.
I also have significant experience working with women, particularly in addressing the emotional impact of chronic health conditions like Endometriosis and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, as well as supporting those on their fertility journey.
My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered as we work together toward a sense of balance and healing.
Practice description
As a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor, my approach is completely focused on you, and everything we do will be at your pace and tailored to your needs. I offer a calm, warm, and empathic space where trust can grow, allowing us to build a supportive therapeutic relationship.
It’s important to me that you feel safe, seen, and understood, which is why I work to create an inclusive and affirming environment. I know that traditional counselling isn’t always the right fit for everyone. That’s why I offer flexible options like walk and talk sessions as well as online sessions, alongside the more traditional sitting and talking. I also have creative tools available to help you communicate your feelings if you verbally can't find the words.
This is your space to be heard and supported as you work through your challenges. My role is simply to be beside you, offering guidance and understanding while you explore what you’re going through.
My first session
I understand that attending a first session can feel like an anxiety-provoking experience. However, reaching out and asking for help is a courageous step forward to gaining support.
In our first session, you will be met with understanding and empathy, creating a comfortable and accepting space for you. It is a session for us to establish a connection and understand what you hope to gain from counselling.
I offer a free initial phone call before arranging our first session where I can answer your questions about what to expect.
