About me and my therapy practice
Having a therapeutic space where you can talk to a professional can often help make sense of difficulties, patterns of behaviour, and relationships, both past and present.
I provide individual therapy for adolescents and adults, with experience in helping them navigate challenges such as anxiety, stress, self esteem, relationship difficulties, grief, and loss. Using a psychodynamic approach, I work with clients to explore unconscious patterns, past experiences, and emotions that shape their present struggles, fostering deeper self-awareness and lasting change.
I hold a Master’s in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy from Goldsmiths, University of London. Before this, I gained a rich and varied experience helping adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds during my 10 years as a social worker in an NHS setting, including training in South Africa.
As a psychotherapist working within a psychodynamic framework, I have gained experience with two homeless charities, supporting individuals facing severe mental health challenges, including PTSD, childhood trauma, depression, and substance misuse. I have also worked in a secondary school, helping adolescents navigate a variety of symptoms and issues.
Practice description
My practice offers a confidential, kind, and safe environment where you can speak openly and honestly, helping to get to the root of the problems you may be struggling with.
My goal is to help you gain insight and awareness about yourself, your relationships with others, and, overall, to help you cultivate purpose, well-being, and a better quality of life.

My first session
Get in touch for an initial, confidential call (free of charge) to explore your reasons for seeking therapy, your goals, and some background information. This will help me understand how I can best support you and offer you a sense of what therapy might be like, as we explore the possibility of working together. Therapy can be open-ended or for a set period, with reviews approximately every six months.
I offer individual psychotherapy for adolescents and adults. Sessions last 50 minutes and are typically held on a weekly basis.
