Are you struggling with self-doubt after a difficult relationship? I help people rebuild confidence and trust in themselves so they can move forward feeling stronger and more secure.
After emotional abuse, it's easy to feel lost—someone else's voice whispering in your ear, making you question your reality. We will work together to separate that voice from your own, so you can reconnect with yourself.
If you've experienced toxic relationships, you may fear repeating the same patterns—maybe you already have. Abuse conditions you to believe you are the problem, but you're not. Together, we’ll work on recognising manipulation, spotting red flags, and disengaging before someone can get their claws into you.
Trusting others can feel terrifying. You might assume vulnerability leads to harm. The goal isn't to avoid hurtful people, but to reach a point where their words hold no weight. You will get to where, when someone acts viciously, you won’t care—you'll walk away, confident they weren’t worth your time.
Our therapy will help you reconnect with your instincts, trust your gut, recognise manipulation, and set firm boundaries. You’ll gain a strong sense of self-worth and realise your confidence isn’t tied to others or how they treat you.
You will learn to evaluate who deserves your energy. We will also explore the difference between distancing from others and leaving for your well-being. Understanding these choices will help you decide where you want your relationships to be for your emotional and mental health.
My background goes beyond therapy—I have supported people through daily life challenges, helped them rebuild social lives, and worked with those processing grief and domestic abuse. This experience allows me to approach healing in a way that is both practical and empathetic. I offer guidance that meets you where you are.
Practice description
I offer online counselling via Teams or phone call, with sessions available from 11:00 to 21:00. While weekly sessions are often the best way to start, the frequency is entirely up to you—some prefer fortnightly sessions, others check in every few months. My goal is not to keep you in therapy forever but to help you reach a place where you no longer need me.
Counselling is a space for you to explore, reflect, and build confidence in yourself. You can expect a direct yet compassionate approach—one that challenges unhelpful thoughts while supporting your growth. We will work together to untangle the effects of past experiences, strengthen your ability to set boundaries, and develop a sense of self-trust that lasts long after therapy ends.
Each session lasts 50 minutes, tailored to your needs and pace. This is your journey, and you are in control of how we move forward. I provide a confidential and ethical space that aligns with professional standards, ensuring you feel safe to express yourself freely.
My first session
I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation so you can get a feel for whether we are the right fit. There is no pressure—just a chance for you to ask any questions, share what brings you to therapy, and see if my approach suits you. If we decide to move forward, we can book a single session to start or arrange a schedule that works best for you.
In our first full session, the focus is on getting to know you. I will listen to your experiences, explore what you hope to gain from therapy, and help you feel comfortable in the process. Together, we will outline a way forward that aligns with your goals.
