Hello, and thank you for considering my profile. I am a fully qualified psychotherapeutic integrative counsellor, committed to providing a safe, professional, and nurturing environment where you can explore life’s challenges. My approach is collaborative, built on the belief that every individual is unique, and therapy should reflect that uniqueness.
A Personalised Approach to Your Well-Being
Life can be complex, and experiences such as anxiety, depression, loneliness, trauma, or loss can feel overwhelming. I tailor my approach to meet your specific needs, ensuring a flexible and responsive counselling experience. Whether you are struggling with identity, life direction, relationships, or family concerns, I offer a supportive space where we can explore these issues together.
Building a Relational Partnership
I believe in fostering a therapeutic relationship based on openness, honesty, and collaboration. This relational approach allows us to explore emotions, behaviours, and thought patterns in a compassionate and non-judgmental way. My aim is to support you in gaining insight, clarity, and the confidence to make meaningful changes.
A Free Introductory Session for Connection
Choosing the right counsellor is an important decision. I offer a free introductory session where we can discuss your needs, answer any questions, and explore how we might work together. Please feel free to reach out by phone or email. I am here to support you.
Practice description
What to Expect from Therapy
When you step into my practice, whether in person or online, you can expect a warm, confidential, and supportive space dedicated to your well-being. My approach is integrative, meaning I draw on different therapeutic methods to tailor our work to your specific needs. I work with individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, addiction, bereavement, low self-esteem, neurodiversity, LGBTQ+ linked issues, stress, social anxiety, suicidal thoughts, and the impact of abuse or neglect.
A Therapy Experience Centred on You
Our first session is an opportunity to explore what has brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain. There is no pressure or expectation, this is your time and I will always work at your pace. Whether you are looking for short-term support or longer-term therapy, I am here to provide compassionate, non-judgmental guidance.
A Safe, Ethical, and Professional Space
As a registered member of Â鶹Դ´ I adhere to their ethical and professional standards, ensuring that you receive a high level of care. My practice is inclusive and open to individuals from all backgrounds, and I strive to create a space where you feel heard, valued, and respected.
Take the First Step
Reaching out for support can be daunting, but it is also a courageous step toward healing. If you are ready to explore therapy, I welcome you to get in touch. Together, we can work towards greater self-understanding and emotional well-being.
My first session
Your first counselling session is an important step in finding the right support for you. I offer a free 30 minute introductory session, giving you the opportunity to explore whether I am the right counsellor for your needs. This session is a relaxed and open space where we can discuss what has brought you to therapy, any concerns or goals you may have, and how we might work together.
I do not require clients to complete formal assessments before or during this session. Instead, our conversation will focus on your current experiences, what you hope to achieve through therapy, and any questions you may have about the process. My aim is to create a comfortable and supportive space where you feel heard, without pressure or obligation.
This session also allows us to discuss practicalities such as session frequency, fees, and whether you prefer short-term or long-term counselling. If we decide to work together, we can schedule your next session at a time that suits you. If you feel that another approach or therapist might be a better fit, there is absolutely no pressure to continue.
I believe in making therapy accessible and ensuring that you feel empowered in your choice. Taking the first step can feel daunting, but this session is designed to help you feel at ease. If you’re ready to explore your options, please feel free to reach out—I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
