Therapy can help. It guided me through life’s events. Although our experiences may differ, I understand what it is like to struggle, feel conflicted. I offer tailored support through my training, NHS background, and coaching experience to help you:

I use a blend of therapeutic approaches, including coaching and solution-focused techniques, to help you . My work with organisations like The Listening Place (supporting those feeling suicidal) also informs my approach. Ultimately I am led by you and we will go at your pace during this journey together.

When we meet, it is about you and your needs. I will offer an honest, gentle and direct approach whilst we create a confidential therapeutic environment together where you will feel free to be utterly yourself.

My style is adaptive, combining active listening, exploration, unconditional positive regard , empathy with appropriate gentle challenges when you are ready.

In our first session we will assess your needs, understand your background and explore how we can work together.

We will have a working agreement. This will depend on your circumstances and what you need from me. It will include how we interact, the length of sessions, where, when we meet, how we deal with emergencies amongst many other matters, some specific to you.
