Availability

Hello, I'm Kiranadhi (Keer-ah-na-dee). I currently have availability for in person or online therapy.

I offer both online and in-person therapy options, based on your needs as well as location. A blended approach is also possible.

I welcome discussion around adaptations or accommodations to make therapy accessible for you.

About me and my therapy practice

I work with adults of all ages and have experience working therapeutically with neurodivergent clients whether clinically or self diagnosed with ADHD, autism or other neurodiversity such as dyslexia or sensory processing.

Being relational is at the heart of my therapeutic approach. You can expect a warm, non-judgemental space for whatever needs expression, to be deeply listened to and supported.

We go at the pace that you need, with curiosity about what is emerging for you, as well as exploring what has happened to you. I practise with trauma awareness, drawing upon somatic approaches and nervous system regulation.

Compassion is balanced with gentle challenge where needed and invited. This sensitive attunement provides both holding and guidance towards supporting you to access your own inner wisdom.

Practice description

My practice integrates several therapeutic models including Jungian, psychodynamic, relational, Gestalt, nervous-system and somatic therapy, and ecopsychology. This approach allows a unique response to what arises in the work.

There is opportunity for creativity where it feels right for you. This may be through attending to images, dreams, embodied approaches or stories, which can be soulful ways of accessing the parts of experience which are less conscious. These less conscious aspects may include memories, and may be a calling to reflect on your life. Equally they may be aspects of yourself that are yet to emerge.

My training has a transpersonal dimension, which creates space for attention to existential, social, planetary and spiritual questions. This call all be held with meaning alongside day-to-day struggles and significant life transitions and crises.

â€˜Meaning makes life bearable and is the gift of being here in the ruthless furnace of the world.’ James Hollis

My commitment to inclusion is a core value based on my professional background of 20 years working with marginalised and excluded young people and children. This has included training adults in educational settings on ADHD, autism and trauma. My understanding of the impact of early adversities has provided an essential foundation for supporting individuals on their journey to resilience and acceptance. Transformation is possible.

I welcome working with people of all backgrounds, cultures, identities, abilities/disabilities and faiths It might be that some aspect of living with difference in a community is part of your reason for coming to therapy and equally it may not.

My first session

I offer an initial free 15 minute online consultation. This provides an opportunity for you to share what brings you to therapy at this time and ask any questions that you may have. It will enable us to decide together whether we are a good fit.

The next step will be agreeing a mutually convenient day and time to meet for a first session with the agreed fee. Each session is 50 minutes.

The first session can sometimes feels a little more structured as I will likely ask you to share a bit more about significant relationships and events in your life, that relate to your reasons for coming to therapy.

Whether you have a lot of experience of therapy or this is your first time, each encounter is unique and you can show up with whatever needs to be here.
