About me and my therapy practice

Let鈥檚 be real鈥攍ife is messy. You might feel anxious, stuck in old patterns, or just plain exhausted from overthinking everything. Maybe you鈥檝e been telling yourself you should have figured this out by now, but deep down, you know something needs to change. I get it, because I鈥檝e been there too.

That鈥檚 why I do this work. Therapy isn鈥檛 about 鈥渇ixing鈥 you (because you鈥檙e not broken). It鈥檚 about having a space where you don鈥檛 have to hold everything together. A space to be real, to explore what鈥檚 actually going on, and to start feeling more like you.

I won鈥檛 sit there nodding in silence, and I definitely won鈥檛 bombard you with jargon. I show up as a real person鈥攃urious, compassionate, and sometimes even with a bit of humour (because let鈥檚 be honest, healing is hard, and we all need some lightness along the way). I bring warmth, humour, and realness into sessions鈥攂ecause therapy doesn鈥檛 have to be cold or clinical.

Together, we鈥檒l explore what鈥檚 going on, untangle the thoughts that are keeping you stuck, and find ways forward that make sense for your brain. Our work will be flexible and creative, and like co-pilots, together we can figure out your preferred way of working to navigate what鈥檚 really going on. This might include: helping your brain slow down, undoing thoughts of self-doubt, exploring past patterns to understand the impact they are having on you now, managing anxiety and overwhelm to feel more in control

Practice description

I work with people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or like their brain won鈥檛 give them a break. Anyone struggling with self-doubt, anxiety, or low self-esteem. Those who鈥檝e been told they鈥檙e 鈥渢oo much鈥 or 鈥渘ot enough鈥 and are so done with that narrative. Those experiencing depression and numbness, and neurodivergence.

Managing Anxiety & Overwhelm 鈥 Helping your brain slow down when it鈥檚 running a marathon.

Self-Worth & Confidence 鈥 Undoing those nagging thoughts that tell you you鈥檙e not good enough.

Exploring Past Patterns (If That Feels Right for You) 鈥 Understanding where some of your struggles might come from.

Mindfulness & Somatic Work (That Isn鈥檛 Boring) 鈥 Finding grounding techniques that actually work for you.

Relationship difficulties and Estrangement from family members 鈥 Investigating the root of issues and finding ways to move forward.

There are no rigid frameworks. No 鈥渏ust think positive鈥 comments. Just real, meaningful conversations that help you move forward.

If any of this resonates, let鈥檚 talk. Therapy doesn鈥檛 have to be stiff and serious鈥攊t can be a place where you feel seen and supported as you figure things out in your own way. I鈥檇 love to hear from you.
