About me and my therapy practice

Do you often feel different? Perhaps you’ve struggled to find your place in the world, navigating feelings of isolation or being misunderstood. You may sometimes slip into dark or uncertain places, unsure how to move forward or make sense of your experiences.

Or maybe you’re standing at a crossroads in life, facing a significant change, a major crisis, or profound loss. Times like these—whether marked by grief, bereavement, or other challenges—can feel overwhelming and disorienting.

What if you could embrace your unique self and uncover a sense of belonging?

Imagine finding an inner peace that carries you through life’s most difficult moments—a deeper connection to your inner wisdom and knowing.

I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can explore these feelings and uncover your true self. My approach blends spirituality, self-discovery, and deep therapeutic work to help you navigate life’s challenges, heal past wounds, and create a sense of purpose and connection. Together, we can shine a light on the dark places, helping you embrace your individuality and find where you belong.

My work is informed by my experience as a registered nurse in palliative care, supporting individuals and families through illness, loss, and the end of life. This has given me a deep understanding of life’s most difficult transitions and helps me guide clients through themes of grief, mortality, and transformation with compassion.

I also offer support for those integrating insights from psychedelic experiences. Whether challenging or illuminating, I provide a grounded space to help you weave their meaning into your life.

If you feel different, are facing a major life transition, or are navigating a period of uncertainty, I’m here to support you.

Taking the first step toward self-acceptance and healing can feel daunting, but you don’t have to do it alone. Together, we can explore your path and uncover the peace you deserve.

Practice description

My therapeutic approach helps you explore your behaviour, personality, and inner life, offering insight into the patterns that shape your experiences. Together, we work toward a deeper understanding of yourself, enabling you to live more authentically and with greater clarity.

I tailor each session to meet your individual needs, creating a warm and supportive space where you can explore at your own pace. My aim is to help you feel safe, heard, and empowered as we cultivate the self-awareness and understanding needed for meaningful and lasting change.

Alongside talking therapy, I may also incorporate techniques such as breathwork, meditation, journaling, or creative expression, like drawing, to deepen your connection to yourself and support your journey toward wholeness.

My first session

Our first session is an initial assessment, giving us the chance to explore what you want from therapy and the changes you’d like to see in your life. There’s no obligation to continue after this session—it’s an opportunity to see if working together feels right for you.

If you choose to continue, I recommend starting with a block of six sessions. This provides the time and space to explore your thoughts and feelings more deeply and to build a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship.

The total number of sessions will depend on your individual needs and goals. Short-term therapy typically lasts between 6–12 sessions and focuses on specific issues, while longer-term, open-ended therapy offers the flexibility to work at greater depth. Regular reviews will ensure that we stay aligned with your goals and that your needs are being met throughout the process.

About me and my therapy practice

I appreciate that choosing a therapist can feel overwhelming and also like taking a massive leap into the unknown. I hope the information here will help to give you a sense of who I am and how I work and help give you the confidence to reach out. The therapeutic space can offer you the opportunity to better understand yourself as well as a chance to talk about topics and feelings that perhaps you can't discuss with family and friends. Through greater awareness of what is happening in our life’s and in our inner worlds we can make more empowered decisions, move through challenges and unlock more of our true potential.

My focus is on how to help people realise their full potential and actualise themselves in the world, as well as how to address issues of identity, purpose, meaning, values and negotiate crisis in whatever form it appears in people’s lives.

Along with being a Psychosynthesis trained therapist, I am also a registered nurse with a background in palliative care. I feel that my experience enables me to effectively support people who are experiencing issues with illness, end of life, bereavement, loss and grief. I also offer support in helping people to integrate material from psychedelic experiences.

If you decide to work with me it will be like setting out on a journey together. On that journey I’ll be your fellow traveller, companion and guide. If this resonates with you then please get in touch. I offer a free initial consultation over the phone as a way to find out if we could work well together.

Practice description

Sessions are 50 minutes and ideally we aim to keep the same time slot each week. If working online then I can offer a little more flexibility around timings.

Psychosynthesis therapy is a way of looking at our behaviour, our personality, our psyche and our inner life, that leads us to better understand ourselves and to develop an art of living. It helps us to become more true to ourselves by its insight into the dynamics of the personality and of how we act in the world.

My approach is tailored to suit the needs of each individual. I strive to support you to feel warmly welcome and safe to explore what you need to at your own pace in order to cultivate the self-awareness needed for lasting change.

Methods I use include talking and I may also use methods such as breathwork, meditation, drawing, journaling.

My first session

The first session is an assessment to see what you want in your life and what changes you would like to see as a result of therapy.

There is no obligation to continue after the first session. If you do decide to continue I recommend to start with a block of 6 sessions. This gives an opportunity to be able to explore material in more depth as well as to develop the therapeutic relationship.

The number of sessions we have together will normally depend on what you want to achieve. Short term is normally 6-12 sessions, longer-term open-ended counselling will incorporate regular reviews to ensure that your needs are being met.
