About me and my therapy practice

I am a fully qualified psychotherapist trained to specialise in working with children, young people and their families. I offer integrative, child-centred and nurturing therapeutic approach tailored to meet each individual's developmental needs. I have worked for Place2Be as a school therapist for more than 3 years as well as experiences as a sessional therapist in other private schools. 

I am passionate about my work with young people, and I have a special interest in supporting clients experiencing difficulties due to trauma. In addition, I am also experienced in working with young people that are neurodivergent. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you feel your child needs support with their emotional and psychological well-being. I am here to listen and help.

*Integrative, child-centred and nurturing therapeutic approach underpinned by Play/Creative therapy, Psychodynamic, CBT and Mindfulness methods tailored to meet clients’ needs.

*Successful completion of a Â鶹ԭ´´ Accredited MA program for Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy for Children, Adolescents and Families by Roehampton University.

*Trauma-informed Practitioner.

*Registered Member of British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MÂ鶹ԭ´´) since 2022.

*Experience of working with children and young people (aged 4-18+) of a wide range of issues including self-injurious thoughts and behaviour, anxiety, low-mood, mood dysregulation, relationships (family, friends) difficulties and trauma.

*Experience of working with neurodiversity (ADHD and ASD).

*Experience of working with diverse social-economic and cultural backgrounds.

*Experience of working with parent(s).

*Over 400 clinical hours with children and young people.

*Enhanced DBS Certification for working with children and vulnerable adults.

*Good awareness of safeguarding and risk management.

*Working within the Â鶹ԭ´´ Ethical Framework, Confidentiality and Privacy Regulation.

*Fluent in English and Mandarin.

*Accepting New Referrals.
