About me and my therapy practice
Our work together will always start with your needs and expectations. Grounded in a person-centred approach, I will enable you to develop the tools you need to live a happy and fulfilling life as you explore your inner thoughts. I will be there every step of the way even if you feel completely stuck.
I will offer a safe, trusting and supportive space for you to explore your issues, feelings and behaviours. Drawing on my diverse background, I have experience working with a range of issues, and offer a non-judgemental and welcoming environment. My life and professional experience adds to my empathic understanding - including with men's health, mental health, sport, sexuality, LGBTQ+ and addiction.
I understand that coming to therapy can feel daunting. Whether you are new to counselling or not, I will work with you to unlock your inner potential in a safe environment.
Practice description
I work in an "open ended" way, so you have the freedom of how long we work together. Choice and autonomy is fundamental to my work.
I will let you set the pace, and decide what content to bring. I am responsible for helping you through the process as we work with your hopes and expectations but ultimately, the sessions are there to work for you. We will agree these expectations together.
I offer sessions via Zoom and telephone at various times during the week including evenings and Saturday mornings. I have a limited number of "in person" sessions available in Brighton and Hove near public transport.
In person sessions are £60 per hour.
Zoom or telephone sessions are £55 per hour.
I offer a limited number of slots at a reduced fee for Counselling students and those on lower incomes - please get in touch to discuss.
Contact me to arrange a free 20 minute consultation to see if we might be a good fit.
