About me and my therapy practice
Are you suffering with overwhelming feelings of anxiety, inner conflicts or finding it hard to connect in relationships? If so then please read on. My name is Gemma, and I am a Â鶹Դ´ qualified integrative Counsellor. I offer both short- and long-term therapy for adults aged 18 and over. I provide face-to-face sessions in Wimbledon, as well as virtual sessions.
In our work together, you’ll find a safe, none judgmental space to explore your thoughts, feelings and challenges. Issues associated with disconnection to ourselves and the world around us can cause so much distress to ourselves and others that being able to understand these underlying issues is fundamental to us living happy and fulfilled lives. In sessions I support this journey back to your authentic self so you can regain the control needed to have the life you deserve.
You have already taken the hardest step in seeking help, so please do get in touch and let's have an initial chat to get to know one another.
Practice description
My Approach
I use an integrative approach to counselling, drawing from various therapeutic modalities to suit your unique journey.
Counselling with me seeks to help you come to terms with your past, gain awareness of how you relate to the world, recognize its impact on your present, and look forward to a more purposeful future.
Finding the right fit
With over 450 therapies available in the UK, choosing the right one can be overwhelming. Research shows that the most crucial factor in successful therapy is the relationship between counsellor and client. This relationship is central to my practice, which is why I offer a free 20-minute chat. This initial conversation allows us to explore whether we might be a good fit. If you choose to continue, we can schedule your first session, which will be another opportunity to get to know each other.
I encourage you to speak with a few counsellors to ensure you find the right person for your journey. Your well-being is the priority, and finding the right support is essential.
