About me and my therapy practice

As a qualified integrative counsellor, I offer a warm, respectful, and non-judgmental space for children, young people, and adults to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences at their own pace. My approach is flexible and tailored to the individual, drawing from a range of therapeutic models including person-centred, creative, solution-focused, and systemic therapy.

With children and young people, I use developmentally appropriate, creative methods such as play, art, and storytelling to help them express what can sometimes feel too difficult to put into words. I work collaboratively with families where appropriate, always holding the young person’s voice and safety at the centre of my work.

When working with adult women, I offer a reflective and empowering space to process past experiences, navigate life transitions, or work through anxiety, low mood, trauma, or cultural identity struggles. I am particularly mindful of cultural, generational, and faith-based experiences that shape how we see ourselves and relate to others.

I am trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and offer counselling in English, Urdu, and Punjabi, making therapy more accessible and meaningful to those who may otherwise struggle to find support that feels safe and relatable.

My aim is to help every client feel heard, understood, and supported in their journey toward healing and emotional well-being.

Integrative Counsellor for Women, Children & Young People

Languages: English, Urdu, Punjabi

Approach: Trauma-informed | Creative | Systemic | Culturally Sensitive

Hello and welcome. I’m a qualified integrative counsellor with a passion for supporting women, children, and young people to find their voice, heal from pain, and rediscover their strength.

With a trauma-informed, creative, and compassionate approach, I offer therapy that meets you where you are, whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck in family conflict, or struggling with identity or self-worth. My practice is grounded in warmth and cultural understanding, shaped by years of experience working within diverse communities.

I also work systemically with families to explore intergenerational patterns, cultural pressures, and communication challenges. Whether we're working individually or as a family unit, I offer a safe and respectful space where all voices can be heard.

My sessions are flexible and can be delivered in English, Urdu, or Punjabi, online or face to face, allowing me to work with those who may feel more comfortable expressing themselves in their own language.
