About me and my therapy practice
As a therapist, I understand life’s many challenges, such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem can be overwhelming, relationships can be wounding. Finding someone to trust and talk about these issues in a safe confidential space can be difficult. I offer you a warm, safe, non-judgemental space to build a relationship where you will be heard, understood and validated. I offer you a nourishing environment where we can work deeply in relationship to enable you to identify and understand any unhelpful patterns that have been affecting you. As you discover your true self you will find the answers you need because no one knows you better than you. Together we will work to discover healthier patterns of dealing with your issues so that you will feel more in control and at peace with yourself as you journey towards the life that you want.
Practice description
I currently offer face-to-face, online and telephone counselling.
My first session
Finding the right therapist can be daunting so I offer a free 15-minute telephone consultation to help us decide whether working together is right for you.
The first session is important and we will work together to relate and come into an agreement as to how we can work together. This sets boundaries for our relationship and involves discussion about confidentiality and how I will uphold the ethical practices of the Â鶹Դ´ throughout our therapy journey.
We will discuss your understanding of therapy and how it works with me. I will seek to understand what brings you to therapy at this time and discuss the goals you may want to achieve.
As we work together my role is to guide and support you in your journey of discovery. As an integrative therapist I will draw on my experience and training in using different theories, skills and techniques to help us to understand and work through your difficult issues. Your therapy is tailored to your unique needs; I will trust you as the expert about yourself to decide how you would like your therapy to be.
